December 29- 31
Well, for the past three days, we have been in Rexburg and Shelly, Idaho.  On the 29th, we left our house a 9: 45 A.M., and made it to Idaho Falls at about 1: 15.  We checked in at our hotel, and then my recently married sister Caitlin and her husband Colton Miller, came to the hotel and we went and got some shakes and fries at Sonic.  Afterwards, we went to Colton's parent's house in Shelley, had a big dinner, and my brother Spencer, my sister Claire and I stayed at Colton and Caitlin's house while my Mom, Dad, and sisters Drew and Sarah stayed at the hotel.  On the 30th, we all went to BYU Idaho and got a tour from Colton's cousin Matt.  Then Colton, Claire, my Dad and I went and got Papa Murphy's Pizza.  That night we watched the Marx Bros movie Night at the Opera.

The next morning, we watched TV, then went to Colton and Caitlin's reception, and I watched Cars 2 with all the little kids, the watched the Bealtles movie Hard Days Night.   We left for home at 10: 30 A.M., and got home at 1: 30 P.M.

Christmas

Christmas this year has been pretty darn good.  For Christmas, I got a pocket knife with a flashlight, a knife, a saw, scissors, a can opener,  a corkscrew, an awl, and a file.  I also got a pretty funny book called The Ultimate Hitckhiker's Guide to the Universe.  It's about a man named Arthur Dent and his friend Ford Prefect (who, by the way, is from the planet Betelgeuse) who escape the destruction of the Earth.  I got Volume Two of the Flash comics, two saxophone solo sheet music books, Hellboy 2: the Golden Army, green Puma shoes, a Star Wars poster and a card game called Geometrical Riddles.  I've been working on a book called Edgar Farnsworth and the First Year of Magic.  Here's an excerpt:

Chapter 3

A Duel

            “C’mon, let’s go have a snack.” Edgar said to Renee, Saja and Arius as they walked to the mess hall.  He bumped into someone who said,

            “Oi! Watch where you’re walking!”

            “Sorry.” Edgar muttered sarcastically.

            “What was that?” cried the boy Edgar had ran into, whipping out his wand, “Blaisirio!” A fireball sped out of the tip of his wand, and Edgar dived out of the way just in time.  Edgar leaped up, drawing his wand.

            “Porsta!” He bellowed.  A jet of purple light shot out of his wand, hitting the boy squarely in the chest.  He was blasted backward and rammed into the wall with a jarring thud.  He clambered to his feet.

            “You… you little… I’m gonna strangle you!” yelled the boy, rushing at Edgar, his hands outstretched.  Edgar jumped out of the way quickly, shouting “Porsta!” again, sending the boy crashing to the floor.  The boy rose and swung a punch at Edgar, who moved, but the fist came in contact with Renee’s face, who whimpered and fell to the ground, unconscious.

            “Renee,” cried Edgar “Porsta!” Once again the Porstus charm came in contact with the boy, making him shoot back into the wall once more.
